The communities of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Seattle, Washington, are mourning the loss of Robert E. “Bob” Lee. He passed away in Clarksville on March 25, 2026, at the age of 71. Born in Seattle on September 21, 1954, Lee proudly carried his West Coast roots throughout his entire life.
Lee was highly regarded for his hard work and steady determination. He initially worked as a door salesman before taking an entrepreneurial leap to establish his very own door company. Friends note he took great pride in building his business and earning his customers’ trust over the years.
Outside of work, he remained closely connected to his hometown as a longtime member of the University of Washington Tyee Club.
Family was always the absolute center of his world. Lee is survived by his daughters, Melissa Leggio and Sara Wheeler, along with three beloved grandchildren. His family also continues to carry the memory of his granddaughter, who tragically passed away in 2022.
A celebration of his life will be held in Seattle, honoring the city where his story first began.
