The community of Clarksville, Tennessee, is mourning the loss of Kenneth Eugene Hill. He passed away peacefully at Vanderbilt’s Clarksville campus, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 72 years old.
Born in Nashville on December 14, 1953, Kenneth later built his life in Clarksville, where he became a well-known and respected figure through his deep connections to the local school community and church.
Kenneth shared a beautiful and devoted 35-year marriage with his wife, Rita Lynn Dyce. Friends note that the two were rarely ever mentioned apart, and those closest to them constantly witnessed the steady care, loyalty, and support Kenneth showed in their everyday moments together.
Described by loved ones as a man who preferred quiet compassion over seeking attention, Kenneth carried himself with a calm strength. Whether he was engaged in a quiet conversation, offering a helping hand to someone in need, or simply spending quality time with his family, his life was truly defined by service to others.
A graveside service honoring Kenneth’s life was held on May 6 in Clarksville, where family and friends gathered to celebrate a legacy rooted in kindness, loyalty, and unwavering faith.
