The loss of 59-year-old Army veteran Thomas Edward Textor, affectionately known to many as “Tom” has left the community of Erin, Tennessee grieving. He passed away on April 7, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
Originally born in Kizer, Arkansas, Tom eventually settled in Tennessee, where he built strong community roots.Tom proudly served in the United States Army, a defining chapter of his life that deeply shaped his discipline and values.
His steady and personal faith also guided him throughout his life, and he was a dedicated member of the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle.
At home, Tom found great peace in simple routines and working with his hands. Woodworking became a true passion rather than just a hobby. Family members fondly recall the careful attention he gave to sanding each piece and the joy he found in sharing his finished craftsmanship.
Above all else, Tom cherished the time he spent with his family. Whether during a quiet evening or a busy gathering, he deeply valued every shared moment. Loved ones note that his gentle spirit and steady presence will continue to live on through the beautiful memories he leaves behind.
