The Clarksville community is mourning the loss of Joyce Lewin Dorner. She passed away on March 29, 2026, at the age of 72. Born in Camden, New Jersey, on October 15, 1953, she spent her early years in Collingswood before eventually settling in Clarksville, Tennessee.
Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Family remained the absolute center of her life. She shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Joseph Dorner. She also took immense pride in caring for her beloved grandchildren.
Friends remember Joyce as a warm and steady presence. She was a faithful and active member of Grace Community Church. Outside of her church community, she found great happiness in simple pleasures. She especially loved the beach and enjoyed spending family vacations relaxing by the ocean.
Joyce is survived by her husband, her daughters, her grandchildren, and her brother. Loved ones will gather for a scheduled visitation on April 3 in Clarksville to share cherished stories and honor her beautiful memory.
