The community of Waco is mourning the sudden passing of Bradley Grant, who they describe as stable, down-to-earth, and compassionate.
Bradley was killed in an accident involving a cement truck on Loop 340 on December 6, 2025. He was remembered for how he made people feel.
Never seeking attention for himself, he cared in little ways, easy smiles at the counter, warm greetings, and a listening ear to all who needed it.
He worked at the Cefco store in Bellmead; his colleagues call him family and say he could quietly lift the room just by his presence.
First responders tried to save him after his accident, but Bradley succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident. At Cefco, staff have put handwritten notes and flowers around his workspace, celebrating the helpful man.
His community says they would help his spirit live on by following in his footsteps of gentle sincerity.
Grant’s absence is already being felt, but his compassion will keep echoing through Waco.
