The founder of the Citadel Global Community Chruch, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has revealed publicly that late President Muhammadu Buhari was not aware of the controversial raid on Sunday Igboho’s residence in July 2021.
Pastor Bakare revealed this during his interview on Television Continental’s programme, Beyond The Headline.
In this interview, Pastor Bakare elucidated that he confronted Buhari during his tenure about the raid. Pastor Bakare explained that Buhari denied his involvement with the raid, explaining that some security agencies acted autonomously; however, he later claimed there simply following orders.
Bakare also touched base on the economic crisis during late President Buhari’s tenure, acknowledging that the economy was in shambles, however, did not entirely blame late Buhari but condemned the corruption that has eaten the bones of the Nation.
In light of the corruption case he made, he highlighted the case of the Accountant General of the Federation.
