The community of San Antonio is mourning the tragic death of 21-year-old Joilee, who lost her life in a fatal vehicle accident on the South Side near Leon Creek.
According to authorities, her car rolled into a creek off Southwest Loop 410, undiscovered until late evening on Tuesday.
On reaching the scene, emergency crews discovered the vehicle heavily damaged, and an unresponsive Joilee was found within.
It is believed officially that she lost control of the car while traveling east and, in a few seconds, veered off the roadway, sealing her fate.
To her loved ones, Joilee was more than the circumstances surrounding her death. She had an unforgettable laugh, the kind that made others laugh too.
She made others feel seen, heard, and valued naturally. Even at her young age of 21, she had left her mark of kindness in the community.
