The sudden passing of 14-year-old Kristine “Krissy” Danielle Jones, has the whole Vidor, Texas community grieving. She passed away at her family home on October 11, 2025.
Krissy was the kind of child to bring joy, warmth, and creativity to those around her, despite the activity she was partaking in, be it fishing, hunting, or just spending time outdoors.
She was a proud big sister and a proper “Daddy’s Girl”. She made sure to also express herself in various ways, like signature outfits, colorful outfits, and even through the kind of music she listens to. “She was my sunshine,” Her mother shared tearfully, remembering the joy her daughter brought to her life.
Krissy is survived by her parents, Williams Jones and Kourtnie Gilbert, her siblings, and many ever-loving relatives. Many who knew Krissy shared that she filled every moment with life and joy from her big heart and even bigger smile.
The community continues to share tributes and memorials, truly honoring the young girl whose light will never fade. Kristine’s legacy of genuine care and love will forever live on in the hearts of everyone she met.
