For many years, Jose worked hard as a stonemason in Chicago. He used his strong hands to build beautiful brick walls and homes. His family says he believed in always building a strong foundation. He lived his personal life the exact same way.
Even though the sickness took his memories over time, it never took away his gentle spirit. His loved ones made sure he felt safe and loved until the very end. They held his hands and played his favorite music. Friends will always remember his quiet smile.
