After a long and daunting battle with cancer, Brian Landry, A police officer and school resource officer at the West Running Brook Middle School in the town of Derry, New Hampshire, passed away.
Brian, who was 44 when he passed, was greatly loved for his humble nature and unconditional care he showed to the students he protected. To a lot of people, he was more than just an officer – he was a friend, colleague, mentor, and a reassuring presence in the hallways. Despite battling with cancer, he remained hopeful and optimistic, and thanks to his ever-loving wife, Courtney, and their two sons, Tyson and Jake, who supported him through every phase.
Friends and colleagues remember him as a man who never grumbled even during treatment. He always returned to his duties whenever his health allowed and managed to serve his community to the end.
His passing has left the Derry Police Department and local schools in Derry devastated. Tributes are continually pouring in all over social media. His legacy of kindness and dedication will never be forgotten.
