The people of Deerfield and the Chicago community mourn the sudden passing of respected physician, Marc Joshua Kleinberg, MD, who died on November 28th,2025.
Kleinberg was known for his warm smile and gentle voice. He was the doctor people could trust very easily.
Patients say he had a unique way of making each person feel special and valued, even on his very busy days.
Dr Kleinberg has helped families in Deerfield and Buffalo Grove for years on end. Not just offering medical remedies, but also kindness, tolerance, and insight.
Coworkers recall how he paused briefly, taking a deep breath, before he went into any exam room, so each patient could have his full attention.
A longtime patient said, “He treated you like a human being, not a chart.”
Even outside the office, his kindness and the little meaningful things he did for others will make him unforgettable.
He had handwritten follow-up notes, calls in the late evenings to check on patients with anxiety, and moral support for hard diagnoses.
Marc’s demise has put the community he assisted so loyally in great grief. Friends, family, and his former patients will celebrate his legacy of honesty and selfless service.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on December 1st, 2025, in Buffalo Grove.
