The Ridgeway community is very sad after the loss of Tricia Mary Ploessl. She was 45 years old and was a loving mother, nurse, and friend. Tricia died suddenly on November 21.
Her family says she left the world giving as she lived — by donating her organs to help others live.
Tricia was known for her gentle smile and how she remembered small things about people — like their children’s names, worries, and successes. As a nurse, she made patients feel better, often staying a few minutes longer just to make someone feel noticed.
At home, she was a caring wife to Todd and proud mom to Brynn, Brielle, and Myiah. Her love showed in everyday moments — helping with homework, cheering at games, and caring for family pets.
Her sudden death has shocked Ridgeway. Friends, coworkers, and neighbors are sharing stories online about her generosity and quiet ways that made life brighter.
Tricia Mary Ploessl will always be remembered and deeply missed.
