Nigerian activist Verydarkman, whose real name is Martins Vincent Otse, has harshly criticized President Bola Tinubu, Dangote Group, and Nigerian influencers following the death of Ruth Otabor, the younger sister of Big Brother Naija winner Phyna.
Ruth tragically passed away after suffering severe injuries from a Dangote truck accident near Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State.
In a passionate video, Verydarkman accused the Nigerian authorities and influential figures of failing to act promptly when Ruth needed urgent medical attention.
He claimed they only spoke out after her death, calling out their hypocrisy.
“Phyna’s sister has finally passed. Where were your voices when we needed help?” he said.
Despite Dangote Group’s claim of covering her medical expenses, Verydarkman questioned why the necessary action wasn’t taken sooner.
His comments have sparked a debate about the failures in Nigeria’s healthcare system and the lack of accountability from influential leaders.
