On Tuesday, the 15th of July, 2025, a suspect whose name has not been released by the authorities at the time of writing this article opened fire inside Legacy Wine & Spirits located on Lee Victory Parkway in Smyrna, Tennessee, United States.
Multiple reports have it that the suspect requested to use a phone, and a tequila pulled his gun and made all the workers in the area run for safety.
The suspect also fired shots through the window and tried to set the liquor store ablaze before locking himself inside the store for several hours.
Authorities responded to the emergency call swiftly, thankfully, no one was hurt. After several hours of talk between the suspect and the authorities, the man surrendered peacefully.
Although police are still investigating the issue, they have, however, advised the public to keep their eyes peeled for suspicious movement.
