A quiet neighborhood is deeply shaken following the arrest of 75-year-old Rupchand Simboo. He is currently facing murder and evidence tampering charges in the disturbing death of his 34-year-old wife, Salisha Ali.
Simboo originally reported Ali missing in July 2025. Her family last saw her alive during a seemingly normal FaceTime call. Months went by without any answers. Then, in September 2025, sanitation workers made a grim discovery when they found human remains hidden inside a garbage bag. Authorities later confirmed the remains belonged to Ali.
In early March 2026, workers cleaning near a wildlife area discovered more remains after noticing a strong odor. Investigators used tattoos to firmly identify Ali. Medical experts stated her severe injuries strongly suggested a violent and deliberate act.
Detectives eventually followed the mounting evidence directly back to Simboo. The couple had married in 2024 after originally meeting abroad. While the exact motive for the killing remains unclear, Ali’s grieving family is now desperately hoping for justice.
