The community of Richmond is mourning the death of Joseph Hunt, a 45-year-old who was severely stabbed on Tuesday night in a home located at North Thompson Street.
The incident was brought to the notice of the cops around 11:47 p.m. by the neighborhood. They observed that Joseph was already suffering from a severe stab when they arrived at the scene. The emergency officials had to quickly take him to the nearest hospital; unfortunately, he was dead before he could be admitted to the hospital
Joseph’s friend characterized him as a kind man who sacrifices his time for others. He pays rapt attention when someone meets him for counseling. Neighbors knew he could motivate and encourage people with His words. He was also helping the elders in the community by following up and assisting them in carrying groceries
His family was assured about Joseph because he had a tender heart and compassionate spirit for others, but his sudden death has broken the hearts of his loved ones, and they were lost on how a kind-hearted man could be killed by stabbing
The Richmond community honoured Joseph’s death by paying tributes through candlelight vigils, heartfelt posts and hashtags across all social platforms
Police will consistently look into the case and also encourage the neighborhood to reach out to them in case they have any information they can share.
