Former University of Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore, 39, has been arrested and charged with felony home invasion and misdemeanor stalking.
Authorities allege Moore repeatedly contacted a woman from a past relationship against her wishes before unlawfully entering her Pittsfield Township home. Once inside, he reportedly grabbed kitchen utensils and made intimidating statements.
Following these allegations, the University of Michigan fired Moore “with cause,” citing credible evidence of inappropriate conduct. In court, a judge set his bond at $25,000, mandating no contact with the alleged victim while awaiting his next hearing in late January.
The sudden arrest and dismissal of the coach have left fans in shock as the legal investigation continues without any convictions yet made.
