The community of Fargo experienced a moment of unhappiness when it heard about the loss of 24-year-old Enosent Noah, who had been reported missing on Sunday. He was tracked near the First River Park, dead early Tuesday morning.
Peers testified that he was a guy who constantly checked up on everyone, even with short gestures like calling or sending short messages. His relatives knew something was not right when they saw a message dropped. The lookout for Enosent started late Monday night after a Cass County deputy saw his vehicle left behind in the Forest River parking space. A drone was used as the officers were on foot, and the rescue team spent the night searching the area. Authorities found his body near the park around 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday.
Jesse Jahner, who was the sheriff, addressed the public by speaking to their fears. They have no reason to believe anyone else is in danger, as Forest River Park is commonly used for families and joggers. An operation will determine the cause of the death, and several agencies, including Fargo officers and Southern Valley Rescue, who assisted in the effort.
People who were familiar with Enosent described him as a kindhearted and soft-spoken person; he always made people feel seen. People paid tributes to him online as they couldn’t comprehend what happened. Peers sent messages of how they’ll miss” the gentle smile he carried everywhere.”
Information concerning the burial will be shared once the family is ready. The case remains active.
