A man named Benjamin Erickson, who was just 24 years old, was arrested after opening fire at Brown University on the 13th of December 2025, killing two students instantly, and nine were severely injured.
This ambush happened during an ongoing study session in a classroom, and this caused chaos throughout the campus in Providence, Rhode Island. As the shooting started, the students sought out where to hide as the local police instantly locked down the campus. The officers found Erickson in a hotel in Coventry, where they saw weapons linked to the shooting scene
