A man who was often regarded as the heart of the small town of Woolgoolga, Philip Lee, has suddenly passed away, leaving family members and loved ones devastated. Philip, who made sure throughout his life to always be the first to show up for others.
He was a great man with even greater qualities, and he was always there to volunteer, to raise funds, or even to offer a helping hand. Friends describe him as “the guy who never said no,” who believed in helping others.
To honor his memory, the community is raising funds for a lasting tribute, such as a memorial bench or tree, where people can gather to remember him. The project will also serve as a symbol of hope for mental health awareness – an issue that Phillip was very concerned about.
Despite his passing, the legacy he has left behind will continue to live through those he had impacted in their lives in one way or the other. Every and any donation helps keep his legacy alive.
