A simple doctor’s visit has turned into a mystery for a family in Georgia. Barbara Mask is 69 years old. She went missing on Tuesday afternoon after visiting her eye doctor.
Police say she was last seen leaving Takle Eye Doctor on South 8th Street. She knew this place well. However, she never made it back to her home on Alabama Road in Meansville.
People are very worried because of her health. Authorities say Barbara has dementia. This causes confusion and memory loss. It can make it hard to recognize familiar places. She also has trouble walking. Police are afraid she could be tired or lost.
Barbara does not have a cellphone, so she cannot call for help. Officers believe she may need help from strangers.
