Comfort Emmanson, the woman seen in a viral video slapping an Ibom Air crew member, has been remanded in Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
The incident happened on a Uyo to Lagos flight after she allegedly refused to switch off her phone before take-off.
Witnesses say the confrontation started mid-flight and worsened when the plane landed in Lagos, with Emmanson reportedly trying to grab a fire extinguisher. Aviation officials say her actions put lives and the aircraft at risk.
Ibom Air has since banned her from flying with them, warning that unruly passengers will face strict consequences.
