The Roosevelt High School community is in shock after the sudden death of 17-year-old Joyce Weidenhoffer. She died in a car accident on November 25. Joyce was known for her big smile and positive attitude that brightened the hallways with her kindness.
Friends and classmates remember Joyce as someone who always made time for others. She offered support and laughter when people needed it most. Her teachers liked her strong work ethic and curiosity. Joyce joined many school activities and was always ready to help her peers.
Her family is devastated by the loss of their daughter and sister. They remember her as a loving and caring person in their lives. The school and local community have given much support, which helps during this sad time.
