The lyrics clearly explain that abusers don’t usually change. Simply put, the devil doesn’t bargain. Noting how toxic both physical and emotional abuse can be, leading to mental struggles. The song speaks to a friend about letting go and walking through toxicity and abuse the right way. You can not stay being abused, believing the person will change, coming out of it is the most essential process for both people. So far as the devil knows he can hit you, he’ll continue and conveniently do. And it doesn’t have to be just physical abuse, emotional and mental abuse are just as dangerous as physical one. They are all tools of the devil. When speaking about the song, Alec Benjamin said the song is really about the music industry and the exploitations that come with it.

His song “Devil Doesn’t Bargain” made its way to the Single Top 100 number 11on the extension, the Single Tip.
When asked by Fword Magazine what music is to him, he replied that “one of my favourite albums is Continuum by John Mayer because every single song is about something else. Many of the albums I’ve listened to, every song is about the same thing, people are saying the same thing 13 times. A broad spectrum of things happened in your lifetime; it’s not all about one break-up. That’s why I also like Kendrick Lamar, as he has a song called Pressure and there is a bit where he says, “I’ve never been violent until I’m with the homies”, and lyrics like that are so real. That’s why I love Poetic Justice, because of its realness. There are a lot of reasons why I make music. I love singing, and more than that, I think I have something important to say, and music has become a great vehicle in which to express my feelings. I think about it a lot, basically, all the time. I think about things and thoughts, and they all come out through my music. It doesn’t always come so easily, though.
Chart Topping DEVIL DOESN’T BARGAIN MP3 Lyrics
The devil doesn’t bargain
It’s useless, don’t do this
It’s hubris to try
He’s ruthless, you knew this
I told you, didn’t I?
He’s abusive, elusive
The truth is he lies
I know you don’t want to let go
And just like before, I can see that you’re sure
You can change him, but I know you won’t
The devil doesn’t bargain
He’ll only break your heart again
It isn’t worth it, darling
He’s never gonna change
He’ll never be Prince Charming
He’ll only do you harm again
I don’t mean to meddle
But the devil doesn’t settle
No, the devil doesn’t bargain
Mm
The devil doesn’t bargain
Mm
I’m not one to lecture
Talk down to a friend
I don’t mean to pressure
Mean to condescend
But I just want what’s best for you in the end
I know you don’t want to let go
And just like before, I can see that you’re sure
You can change him, but I know you won’t
The devil doesn’t bargain
He’ll only break your heart again
It isn’t worth it, darling
He’s never gonna change
He’ll never be Prince Charming
He’ll only do you harm again
I don’t mean to meddle
But the devil doesn’t settle
No, the devil doesn’t bargain
Mm
The devil doesn’t bargain
Mm
And I know you think he’ll change this time
But I think that you will find
The devil doesn’t bargain
He’ll only break your heart again
It isn’t worth it, darling
He’s never gonna change
He’ll never be Prince Charming
He’ll only do you harm again
I don’t mean to meddle
But the devil doesn’t settle
No, the devil doesn’t bargain
Mm
The devil doesn’t bargain
Mm
The devil doesn’t bargain
Mm
The devil doesn’t bargain
Mm
